Q-Tip Dot Paintings – Aboriginal Inspired Art for Kids

Australian Aboriginal art (like Pointillism) is famous for its collection of small dots. While authentic Aboriginal dot paintings tell stories of cultural significance, these free printable templates and ideas are only intended to introduce toddlers and preschoolers to Aboriginal culture. These Free Q-tip Dot Painting Templates can be used for NAIDOC week or any time you want to start teaching your class about Australia.

An idea that I love, but only thought of after we made our own dot painting, was to use sticks instead of a cotton bud to make our pictures.
