Materials Needed

  • Blue and yellow craft paper
  • Pasta (spiral or penne work wonderfully)
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Yellow Paint
  • A ziplock bag

How to Make Pasta Sun Art for Kids

Step 1: Make the pasta yellow, however this is completely optional, there is no need to color the pasta at all. I only did because I wanted it to be the same color as the yellow craft paper I was using.

Add the pasta and yellow paint into a ziplock bag. Shake the bag until all of the pasta is covered in yellow paint.

If you want to thin the paint out a bit, to make it easier to cover the pasta, then add a tablespoon of vinegar or water.
Tip the pasta out onto a plate and let it dry completely.
