Amazing Halloween Spaghetti Sensory Bin

Setting up fun Halloween activities can be as simple as putting a pot on the stove. That’s the first step to creating this amazing Halloween Spaghetti Sensory Bin.

But for me, the best part about this activity is that it’s taste-safe. This means that it’s suitable for babies too (but please supervise, we don’t want any cute pumpkins choking).

1. Cook your spaghetti according to the package directions.

2. Place your drained spaghetti, vinegar, and food coloring into the ziplock bag, or container, and shake until the spaghetti is completely covered.

If your spaghetti isn’t as bright a color as you want, you can always add more food coloring until you get the shade you want.

If your spaghetti isn’t completely covered with color, in other words, only some of the spaghetti has turned orange, but not all. Then you can add more vinegar and food coloring and reshake the bag.

Vinegar helps the color to set, which means that it sticks to the spaghetti and not to your kids hands. (Or white towel in my case)

3. Place your orange spaghetti onto your tub/tray and decorate with your Halloween props.

If you want to save time washing dishes, just use a plastic tub for both the color mixing and the playing. All you have to do is take off the lid, add in some toys and you’re all set.
