Mixing paint together is probably the most fun way to learn about colors. It’s also probably the messiest. Although in my book that’s usually what makes most things fun. (I can hear my husband cringing in the background at that comment) Fortunately, there is another way to help teach your kids about primary and secondary color mixing. Just print and go, easy as pie. Actually it’s easier than pie. Hmmm… pie.
The printable is very straightforward, what do you get when you mix two colors together? We used our rainbow pasta for this activity, but you could also use buttons or just crayons to color in the circles.
