Color wheel Math

Mixing paint together is probably the most fun way to learn about colors. It’s also probably the messiest. Although in my book that’s usually what makes most things fun. (I can hear my husband cringing in the background at that comment) Fortunately, there is another way to help teach your kids about primary and secondary color mixing. With this free color wheel math printable.
Just print and go, easy as pie. Actually it’s easier than pie. Hmmm… pie.

The printable is very straightforward, what do you get when you mix two colors together? We used our rainbow pasta for this activity, but you could also use buttons or just crayons to color in the circles.

This is one of my favorite travel bag activities because there is no prep involved. All you have to do is grab the printable (free download below) and a box of crayons and you can take it with you anywhere.
