Easter Lace By Number Cards - Fine Motor Activity

Lacing is one of my favorite fine motor activities for kids. However, these Easter Lace By Number Cards come with an additional level. You need to recognise and and then lace from the numbers 1 – 10. This is a fun way for preschoolers and kindergartners to practice some basic math. If you want to use this activity with toddlers, don’t worry about the numbers, just let them practice their pincer grip and play how they like.

Materials Needed

The Easter Lace By Number Cards PDF
A printer
A laminating machine and laminating sheets
Scissors
A hole punch
String or shoelaces

How to make Easter Lace By Number Cards

Step 1. Download and print the free printable lacing cards.

2. Laminate the sheets.

3. Cut out each of the Easter eggs, and use a hole punch to make the lacing holes.

4. Tie a piece of string or shoelace to one of the holes.

This is optional, you don’t need to tie the shoelace to the lacing card. I only do this if I have enough shoelaces for each card, and if I’m worried about the kids losing them.

5. Enjoy learning.
