How to Make a Handprint Turkey Craft
1. Download and print the free template
Download and print the handprint turkeys onto a sheet of paper. You can find the free printable template at the bottom of the post. All you need to do is click the large blue button to get your copy.
2. Cover your child’s hand in paint
Use a paintbrush to cover your child’s hand in paint. I recommend using brown paint for the palm and a different color on each of the fingers, so that they look like the turkey’s feathers.
3. Press the hand to the printable
Place your child’s hand on top of the turkey in the middle of the page. You’ll need the palm to cover the turkey’s body, and have the fingers pointing towards the top right hand corner of the page.
4. Let the paint dry
Remove your kids hand, trying to make sure the paint doesn’t smudge as you do it, and let your turkey handprint craft dry.
