How to make DIY Bath Stickers

Is your toddler a reluctant talker? Mine was. I was dying to hear those first few words but… nothing. For ages. I tried all the usual tips, talking constantly, singing songs, reading. Reading books did not work for us. My little hurricane did not want to sit still long enough to get through even one page. But then I discovered something that worked like a charm. DIY Bath Stickers. They are the number one hack I used to get my reluctant toddler talking. I couldn’t believe how simple it all turned out to be. They are so easy to make and had him spilling out new words every day.

Materials

How to make DIY Bath Stickers

1. Print off the free Bath Stickers printable.

I’m using a page of our favorite Australian Animals to show you how to do it.

2. Cut out each Picture

You can either cut out the focus in the picture, as I did with these animals or just cut out the entire rectangle. Whatever works best for you.

3. Laminate the pictures

After you cut out the pictures, laminate them. Then cut them out again. You want to cut the picture out before you laminate them because you want a good edging around your picture. This sealed edging ensures that your stickers remain waterproof.

It really is that simple. Laminated pictures are light but have a large surface area. Which means that they’re great at sticking to things (such as tiles or a bath) when they are wet.
