- Plastic cups

How to Make an Ice-Cream Shop
1. Place the balls in a basket.
If you don’t have any ball pit balls, you can also used balls of colored paper instead.
The diffrent colors can represent different flavors. So if you have one basket for each flavor, that would be great because you can do som color sorting at the same time. But don’t worry if you only have one or two baskets available, the kids will still have fun.
2. Arrange your cups, balls and till on your table.
We were lucky enough to have a toy shop till at home. But you can also done this activity with just a regular calculator, or a sheet of paper with numbers written on it. The kids just want to press some buttons as they may you pay.
If you are doing this activity with school ages kids, this is also a great way to teach them about money and do some simple math at the same time.
3. Enjoy playing

Now all you need to do is place your order and gets your kids to assemble the ice cream before you pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to talk to your kids about manners and saying “please” and “thank you” to staff when you’re out at the real shops.
