How to Make a Paper Plate Sheep Craft
1. Spread glue over the paper plate

Spread glue all over the paper plate. You can use a glue stick, or white glue. Whichever you have on hand will work for this simple craft.
2. Unroll the cotton balls

Although you don’t have to, I like to unroll the cotton balls before I use them.
While this is mainly to avoid unnecessary waste, it’s also a great activity for helping young kids develop their fine motor skills.
3. Glue down the cotton balls

Cover the entire paper plate with cotton to make the sheeps body soft.
If you don’t want to use cotton wool balls, you can also try different craft materials. Such as shredded paper, pom poms, or yarn to make your little sheep fluffy.
4. Draw a sheep’s face and legs on the black card stock

I used a white pencil to draw a sheep face and legs onto the black paper. But you’ll notice that you can use a regular pencil instead, and you’ll still be able to see the lines.
If it’s easier for you. You can also draw the sheep’s ears separately from the face, and glue them together towards the end of the craft.
5. Cut out the paper

Use a pair of scissors to cut out each sheep’s head and limbs.
6. Glue down the face

Spread glue on the back of the sheep’s face and glue it to the middle of the paper plate.
7. Glue on the legs

Place a small amount of glue on the top of each of the sheep’s legs. Then attach them to the bottom of the paper plate.
8. Glue on the eyes and let it dry

Glue a pair of googly eyes (or white paper circles) onto the sheeps face to finish your craft.
Once you’ve finished, let the glue dry before hanging your cute paper plate sheep up on your wall.
