Sun Fine Motor Activity – Instructions
Step 1: Draw a sun outline onto a sheet of yellow paper.
I found that origami paper was perfect for this activity. It was just the right size for little hands to hold, and it meant I didn’t have to do any cutting of my own when getting this activity prepared.

2. Draw a face onto the sun.
If you want to explore different emotions with your class. Draw different faces on each of the suns. Or let your class draw the faces themselves.
You can also include some clouds and other objects for your class to cut out. Then glue them down in a cut and paste sunny day picture. The sun, clouds, and a kite are simple enough shapes for preschoolers to conquer.
