How to Make a Toilet Roll Flowerpot Easter Egg Holder

1. Cut your toilet roll in half to make two cylinders.
2. Cut a small ring off the top of your toilet roll and set aside. Cut the remainder of your toilet roll in half and flatten. Then make three cuts in the rectangle (equal distances apart), but make sure not to go all the way through. Leave at least 5 mm of the toilet roll intact.
3. Overlap the two sides on each cut and glue them together. You want to make an overall V shape with your toilet roll.
You will find that the ring you set aside won’t fit over the top of your toilet roll unless you make the circumference of the base of the flowerpot a bit smaller. When gluing down the cut that went through the entire toilet roll, make sure that it fits inside the ring first, before gluing.
4. Lastly, take the ring that you set aside in step 2 and glue it to the top of the V. Paint any color you like.
Although I didn’t show it in the pictures here, to add a bit of interest, I drew some grass onto a piece of green craft paper, which I then glued to the inside of the flowerpot. You could also create some flowers and add them to your flowerpot in the same way.
To Make the Easter Egg Bunny Bums

5. Grab your supplies, although I used plastic Easter eggs for this craft, you can always use chocolate eggs and follow the same steps.
6. Draw two ovals (for bunny feet) onto craft paper the same color as your plastic Easter Eggs. Use a pink pen (or paint) to create 4 toes on one side of the foot.
7. Glue a pom-pom, the same color as the plastic Easter Egg, onto one end of your egg.
8. Glue your bunny feet just underneath the tail.
In the end, you’ve created a fun Bunny bum Easter Egg with its very own flowerpot holder.
