Materials Needed
- Free Printable rainbow alphabet puzzles.
- Printer and paper
- Laminating machine (optional)
- Scissors
How to Prepare the Rainbow Alphabet Puzzles
Step 1: Download and print the file found at the bottom of the post.
Step 2: Cut out each of the puzzle pieces. Use the pages as-is for an easy no prep activity, or laminate them to make them reusable.
Step 3: Enjoy learning.
How to Play
Step 1: Say the name of the focus letter in the bottom left-hand cloud. What is the letters beginning sound? What words start with those sounds?
Step 2: Discuss the different forms and parts of each letter. Does it have straight lines? Curved line?
Step 3: Find the lower-case counterpart to the focus letter in the cloud of the matching page. How does the lower case letter look different from the uppercase letter? Place the two pieces together to connect the two halves of the rainbow.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 with the other letters of the alphabet.
