  1. Paper
  2. Green paint or a green sharpie
  3. Blue paint
  4. White paint

1. Draw the stems

Make the stems of your bluebonnet plant using green paint or a green sharpie. Although this is an easy step, very young children might need a little help.

2. Paint the blue flowers

I used two different color blues to make the flower head. Dip your fingertip in the paint and press it onto the page to make a small dot. You can overlap the dots as I did, or keep them separate. It all depends on how you want to paint.

3. Add a touch of white

While the blue paint is still wet, I went over this amazing flower craft with some white fingerprints. I like how the colors blended together to create a mottled effect on the bluebonnets.

4. Let it Dry

Let the oaint on your picture dry. When you’re finished you can hang it up on your fridge door or classroom wall.
