How to Make Giant Shape Art for Kids

Step 1: Grab a piece of cardboard, and use painters tape to make the outlines of shapes.

I started by dividing the cardboard into sections, and then assigning each section a single shape. So I had rows of squares, triangles, circles and more. But of course, you can arrange the shapes in whatever way you like. Do what works for you.

2. Grab some paints and let the kids have fun.

3. When the painting has dried, remove the painters tape to reveal the shapes underneath.
