How to Make a Handprint Pirate

Step 1: Pick 3 colors. 1 for the face, one for the beard, and one for the hat.

2. Paint your four fingers in the beard paint.

I made a mistake when I made this pirate. I didn’t keep my fingers together. So instead of a beard, it looks like my pirate has four legs instead (my bad).

However, I still love how it turned out. Even with four legs.

3. Paint your thumb and the bottom third of your palm in the hat color.

4. Paint the remaining part of your palm in the last color.

To make my pirates skin color I mixed white with a bit of brown and a tiny bit of orange. You can vary the amount of brown in your mixture, depending on what shade you want your pirates skin to be.
