  2. Laminating sheets
  3. Laminating machine
  4. Scissors
  5. Hole punch
  6. Shoelaces or string

How to Make Space Lacing Cards

Step 1. Download and print the pdf file found below.

2. Laminate each page

3. Cut out each picture.

I like to leave a ¼ inch border around each picture. This is optional, I do it this way because I don’t like punching the holes in the middle of each picture.

4. Use a hole punch to make holes all along the perimeter of the cards.

I usually aim for about an inch between the holes, but of course you can choose how close together to place the holes.

5. Gather up your shoelaces or string and enjoy learning.

If you want to ensure that the shoelaces don’t get lost, then tie one end of the shoelace to each card. But if you have more cards than laces you may prefer to leave them separate.
