Materials Needed
- Paper and printer
- Popsicle Color by Ordinal Number PDF
- Colored pencils
Instructions
1. Download and print the free worksheet – there are five different popsicle stick worksheets included in the digital download.
To get your copy, just head to the bottom of the post and click the large blue button.

2. Color in the popsicle – to find the correct color for each ice-cream, look at the color key below the line of popsicles, then color in the indicated ice-cream in that color.
For example, if the color orange has the ordinal number 1st next to it. Color in the 1st popsicle in orange.

3. Write in the ordinal number for each ice-cream – on the line below each popsicle picture, write the ordinal number for that ice-cream’s position.
If you find it easier to swap steps 2 and 3 around, you can encourage your kids to do so.

4. Repeat – Complete steps 2 and 3 for each of the popsicles in the line until all of them are colored in.
