Easy Christmas Decorations Sensory Bin

Do your kids love taking the Christmas decorations off of your Christmas tree? Mine sure do, and it drives me up the wall. Why not combat this behaviour, by creating a Christmas Decorations Sensory Bin. Which lets them explore all of the Christmas decorations in a way that doesn’t ruin the tree.

Adult supervision is required for all activities at all times. Some of the links provided in this blog are affiliate links. I will be paid a commission if you use this link to make a purchase.

  1. A large tub
  2. Tinsel
  3. Baubles
  4. Stars, angels etc.

Step 1. Dig out your box of Christmas decorations and see what you have.

2. Grab a large tub and place anything interesting that you can find in the tub.

3. Let your kids explore the Christmas decorations up close without ruining your Christmas tree.

This is one of my favorite sensory activities for kids to do this time of year. Because it’s so easy to just put aside a few decorations while decorating the tree with your family. Then you can bring it out whenever your kids get a bit too curious about the Christmas ornaments on the tree and distract them in a subtle way.
