Materials Needed

Black glue
Watercolor paper
Watercolor paint
Paint brushes

You can easily buy pre-made black glue for all of your craft projects. This is great not only for kids craft ideas, but also for adult crafts or anytime you want to repair something that is black itself and you don’t want the join to be obvious.

How to Make Black Glue Spider Web Art

1. Draw a spider web in black glue.

If you don’t want to buy black glue, you can make your own. All you need to do is to mix a few drops of black food coloring into a bottle of liquid glue. Easy peasy.

If you’re doing this activity with very young children, like toddlers or preschoolers, you’ll need to do this step for them.

2. Let it dry.

3. Paint the background.

Use watercolor paint to decorate the background behind your spider web however you like. This is a great way to let kids express their own creative ideas.
