  1. Printer and paper
  2. Colored buttons or colored pencils
  3. Color Mixing Math PDF

How to Make the Color Mixing Math Activity

1. Download and print the free printable – you can find the digital pdf below. All you need to do is click the large blue button to get your copy.

2. Laminate the printable – this is optional. However, if you’re planning on doing this activity more than once, I recommend laminating it, or placing the paper in a pocket protector.

3. Gather your materials – I used colored buttons for this activity. However you can use any item you like, including pom poms, stickers or colored crayons.

How to Play

1. Look at each color problem – make note of whether the two colors have a + or a – sign inbetween them.

2. Pick the correct color that solves the problem – once you’ve decided which color completes the color math problem, place an object or color in the empty circle with that color.

3. Repeat – Continue the first two steps until all of the problems have been solved.
