How to Make and Play Fall I Spy

1. Download and print the free worksheet.

You can find the printable game beneath below. Just head to the end of this post and click the large blue button to get your copy.

If you want to make your printable worksheets more sturdy and reusable then I recommend either laminating them, or placing them in dry erase pockets. You can then use dry-erase markers to solve the game instead of a pen or pencil.

2. Count how many of a certain image are above the line.

The printable is divided into two sections. The bottom section is the answer key and the top section is the I spy part.

Pick one image and count how many of the same image appear above the line. This is a great way to get younger kids to practice one-to-one correspondence (counting each object only once and not missing any.)

3. Write the number in the space provided.

Write the correct numeral in the space provided next to the image in the answer key section.

This is an easy way to get kids to practice number formation as well as number – numeral matching. Which is essential for school readiness.

4. Repeat with all of the pictures.

Count all of the images and write the numeral in the section at the bottom of the page.

There are up to ten of some of these fall objects for your kids to count to in this printable. This is perfect for young children who are still working on counting to 10.
