How to Make Mittens Sticker Art

1. Download and print the mittens art template.

I printed the template onto light blue paper because I wanted my picture to have a colored background. But of course, you can choose whatever kind of paper you like.

To get your copy of the free template, head to the bottom of the post and click the large blue button.

2. Paint the mittens.

Use paint, crayons or markers to give your mittens a base layer. There are so many different ways to decorate your mittens picture, you’re only limited by your imagination.

I also ended up tracing over the lines of my mittens with a black marker. This is optional, but I liked how it made the outline more defined.

3. Use stickers to decorate the mittens.

I used simple dot stickers to decorate my mittens picture because that was what I already had on hand. If you can find some snowflake stickers then I think that this picture would turn out even better.

Using stickers is a great way to help young children develop fine motor skills. However, there are so many other ways to decorate your mittens. Some other ideas that you might want to try include:

  1. Using buttons
  2. Snowflake stamps
  3. Finger painting
