  1. Blue construction paper
  2. Q-tips
  3. Glue
  4. Scissors

How to Make Q-Tip Snowflake Art

Cotton buds.

1. Cut some of your q-tips into half.

This step is optional, but it’s a great way to give your kids some extra options. Having cotton buds that are different lengths means that they have more ways to create their own unique snowflakes.

2. Glue some long q-tips onto your blue paper.

I arranged 8 cotton buds in a radiating star shape. But of course, you can do what you like. Use 6 cotton buds instead, or 4. This is a great craft that lets kids use their imaginations and create whatever they like.

3. Use smaller cotton buds to create a pattern in the middle of the snowflake.

When you are happy with the pattern you have created, glue them into place.
