Snowy Forest – Easy Winter Art for Kids

How do you feel about kids art ideas? I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of doing arts and crafts with my kids because I just find paint stressful. But this Snowy Forest Winter Art for Kids was an exception, even though paint was involved it was surprisingly mess-free. We all love a pleasant surprise don’t we, and this picture was the cherry on my sundae this winter.

The holiday season can be tough on parents and kids who don’t want to be inside all day.   1. Blue and light brown paper
  2. Glue
  3. White paint
  4. Q-tips

1. Take the light brown paper and tear it into strips.

These can be big or small, depending on the age and inclination of the kids you’re teaching.

2. Glue the brown paper, in stripes, onto the blue paper.

Although it’s not necessary, you can use some of the smaller pieces of paper as branches, and glue them at an angle, coming from the larger “tree trunks”.

3. Use a q-tip and white paint, to make dots of snow over the entire page.

You can make as many dots as you like because this will be the snow in your forest art.
