  1. Build a Bat Craft Template
  2. Printer and paper
  3. Scissors
  4. Glue

1. Download and print the build a bat printable

2. Cut out the pieces

Use a pair of scissors to cut out all of the different bat pieces. Younger children may need help with this step if they are still working on their fine motor skills.

3. Glue the wings to the body

I started off by attaching the wings to the back of the bat’s body. You can use glue, sticky tape or glue dots, whatever you have on hand that will work.

4. Glue on the facial features

Next, I glued the ears, eyes and mouth onto the bat’s head. 

Finally, let the glue dry and decide where you want to hang your new bat pictures.
